Greg CRAOLA Simkins

Greg “CRAOLA” Simkins grew up in Southern California with a menagerie of animals including rabbits, one of many omnipresent creatures in his hyper-realistic paintings featuring species both familiar and otherworldly. He began drawing at the early age of 3 and was inspired by various cartoons and books. At 18 he started doing graffiti under the name CRAOLA. After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art from California State University of Long Beach, he worked in the video game industry and fashion before entering the fine art world. He has collaborated with a wide variety of clientele, and some of his fantastical designs have manifested as collectible toys. Simkins lives and works in California.
