Claudia “Claw Money” Gold is a graffiti writer turned fashion designer. Her signature paw with three claws covered New York City from the late 1980s through the early ’90s, which led to her launching her own clothing line, Claw & Co., and on to collaborating with corporate brands from Nike to NASCAR. She is featured in numerous documentaries, penned the memoir Bombshell: The Life and Crimes of Claw Money, and in 2009, Tag au Grand Palais in Paris, France, named her “one of the most influential graffiti artists of all time.” She has created city-commissioned art and public murals all over the world.
