Robert Provenzano, known professionally as CES, is a New York City master of “wildstyle.” The streamlined aerodynamic alphabetic reconfiguration has influenced generations worldwide. CES (sometimes known as WISH) presents a new series of paintings romanticizing traditional New York, exploring the visual connection of art on transit systems. Seen through the eyes of a train-painting adventurer, surface textures of rust, metal and concrete contrast the artwork beautifying an otherwise cold, dreary commute.
