These flyers serve as early documents of the Hip Hop movement as well as important pieces in the timeline of communication, typography, layout and design. Together they tell a story through visuals, in a paper format that was never meant to last, incidentally documenting a musical genre that continues to evolve and outdo itself, shaping culture around the world.

These surviving scraps are treasured artifacts, as fun to flip through in a book as the act of crate digging for vinyl records.
