PRIEST's Latest Print Has Arrived

We're pleased to announce our latest print release with PRIEST.  Known for his juxtaposition of satirical and playful imagery with dark, subversive subject matter, PRIEST's compositions are bright and colorful, combining nostalgic cartoons, video games and street art in a tongue-in-cheek critique of capitalism and corporate culture. You may remember PRIEST from his solo show, PRESS START, at our gallery back in March, as well as his works featured at BEYOND THE STREETS London:

PRESS START

Inspired by the immersive world of video game technology, PRESS START featured original works created from hundreds of different compositions to represent new  sections of classic games that never existed. Achieved through complex research and analysis, each highly-detailed painting aims to capture the viewer’s eye and welcome them into a world that feels familiar yet slightly uncharted. 

 

About his latest print release, PRIEST shares: 

"The act of breaking into a train yard and creating graffiti also requires significant teamwork and planning, traits that the dwarfs are known for. For instance, Doc the leader, would study the security patrol times and locations of security cameras, Sneezy could act as a lookout with his loud sneezes serving as a warning signal, and Grumpy could fight any local 'Hero's' if neccessary.' I hope to continue this series, following the wacky and wild adventures the dwarfs embark on."
