Alex Pardee’s illustrations, and imaginations, have graced the cover of albums for bands like Primus, The Used and In Flames, while his darkly humorous creations appear in the pages of comic books, on the sets of movies, on streetwear apparel, and even stylized Topps baseball cards. He blames 80s horror films, pop art, graffiti, gangster rap, Garbage Pail Kids and skateboard graphics for his “brightmares” aesthetic combining bright colors and nightmare-ish imagery.
Alex Pardee's limited-edition skate deck design comes from his Congealed series of paintings-disciplined, bold and oozing with color.
